P.O.S.E

A physical game for 3 or more players. Players play a version of H.O.R.S.E. substituting difficult poses for basketball shots.

Rules:
1. All players become players in crowd. Choose players to start as First Player, Challenger, and Judge. These roles will change amongst players in the crowd over the course of play. Players in the crowd may interfere with the First Player and Challenger, as long as they do no physically touch them. The crowd should surround the First Player and Challenger.
2. Each round, the First Player and the Challenger face off. The First Player strikes a difficult pose, and must hold it for 20 seconds.
3. If the First Player succeeds in holding their pose for 20 seconds, the Challenger must hold the same pose for 20 seconds.
4. The Judge determines whether or not the First Player or the Challenger succeeds in holding the pose.
5. If the First Player fails to hold their pose for 20 seconds, the Challenger then strikes a pose for 20 second, which the First Player must match.
6. If the Challenger succeeds in holding the First Player's pose for 20 seconds, the Challenger then strikes a pose for 20 second, which the First Player must match.
6. If either player fails to hold the other player's pose for 20 seconds, that player earns a letter (P, O, S, E), and becomes the Judge. The Judge or a player in the crowd becomes the Challenger. No player may become Challenger again this way until all players have been the Challenger. Start again at 2.
7. If both the First Player and the Challenger have struck poses without eliminating the other, the Judge must strike a pose, and both the First Player and Challenger must hold to the pose as long as they can.  The first one to break the pose earns a letter (P, O, S, E) and becomes the Judge.
8. If any player earns all 4 letters (P, O, S, E) they are eliminated from play, and may no longer become the First Player or the Challenger.
9. Play continues til only 1 player remains. This player is the winner.
